The City of Taylor is hosting its Citywide Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to properly dispose of bulky items and help keep our community clean.
The City is partnering with Waste Connections to offer free drop‑off service for City of Taylor residents.
Drop‑Off Locations:
- 1302 Welch Street - 1424 North Main Street What to Bring: Proof of residency (City of Taylor water bill or valid photo ID)
Need Help Transporting Items? Residents unable to transport bulky items may contact the Greater Taylor Foundation at 512‑906‑8444 for assistance.
Items NOT Accepted Include:
- Hazardous waste (paint, fuel, oil, etc.) - Tires - Construction materials - Uncut brush (must be cut into 4‑ft sections and bundled) - Chemicals, herbicides, or pesticides - Propane tanks - Batteries - Electronics with printed circuit boards (TVs, monitors, microwaves) - Refrigerators, freezers, or air conditioners - Fluorescent bulbs - Household trash - Animal carcasses - Any other hazardous materials Questions?
